Check out the General Large Scale RC - Andrew Smolnik is a senior representative of some description. Perhaps he can give you some ideas?
PM him for changes, developments, whatever?
There's a thread on the CEN 1/5th scale SC truck.

The thing is with anything in life; if it works fine, nobody says anything, but the moment something goes wrong, every man and his dog 'is on the case'. Certain complaints are justified, some may not be.
Generally, I've neither heard good nor bad of them. I know some places used to make '7.7cc conversions' to take the CEN nitro MT engine.
Al.

i ordered some parts from cen. they were easy to deal with. i shipped the cheap way and my parts came within 2 weeks.

i heard alot of negative. online and from local LHS owners ect.. but being a man that like to form my own opinion, i bought a CEN CT-5 onroad sedan.

first thing i ll say, is if ALL my nitro motors ran like the NX15 motor ran, i may of NEVER looked at a gasser in the first place. motor would start in 30* or 90* weather. a quick tweek of the carb and off it went. ran it into countless curbs, near full speed, only thing i ever had happen was i broke the servo when the stock battery pack hit it.

I was very impressed with the CT5 durability, 2speed, and overall performance. though i never raced with it, i think it would of been a very competative racer.

I had an original cen genesis, and well, it was a money pit. so it jaded my opinion. I did drive their truggy though and tuned one up for a new track member on a practice day and it ran good. I watched a newbie drive around the track with it, flipped, rolled etc etc and was still in good shape, aside from the body and wing, at the end of the day
