hi mate, when i own my tt, i purchase a cy31 (30,5) esp engine. so i want to make sure i will get all the power i can expect from this. so i wonder what gear combination may i use for speed runs on long backyards or gravel fields.

what do you recommend to me?

i m thinking on some mcd gears too (33t, 27t, etc) and everithing start with this image:

once i purchase the radical speed set for my old baja (26cc) and no glad that, wrong choice. my baja was VERY lazy on low speed, and i must keep it on high rpm cause if they fall down then i need like 20 mts to gain high rpm/speed again. so i don't wanna make the same mistake.

thanks in advance and sorry if you talk about it on other thread.

one more time sorry for my bad english.

Id try 31/29 first, considering thats stock TT gearing. And go from there.
you are right. That semms to be a good start. I just wanna include some gear to my next order this week to rampagehopup. Thank obeast you are always there

If you wanna add a gear set to the next order, I would get the 27/33 combo. That will give you a very large range of gearing options, 27/33, 29/31, 31/29 and 33/27. I can almost garuntee youll choose one of those 4 options. After that would be the 35/25 gearing from a stock MT, I have a set in steel and its WAY to tall for my 29cc OBR w/ Hostile Mini MX v2s

33/27 is too high for off road but 27/33 is a low end make it grunt set up. I have a set of each in plastic and tried them all the one set up I go back too for off road is 30/30

i have the 30.5cc and the rad gears in my baja 5b and that thing has mad low end from the engine and sweet speed from the gears.

the same thing should be true for the rampage. as far as speed gears and torque engine. like in 1/8 scale rev engine with a torque pipe there is a balance to equalize it all out
