I am addicted now, I took my KM out for its first run today!! I was taking it nice and easy, not letting it go to full throttle or anything crazy but took it off some jumps and the front shock tower is done, and I also noticed the rear bumper is all bent out of wack already!! So my question is what should i replace the rear bumper with? I am thinking the stock HPI SC bumper set bu i an not sure if there is a better choice I haven't seen yet. Any advice would be awesome! I will take some pics and post them up later!:w00t:

The Uber Bumpers are very good not everyones taste but i know from experience they will take a good hammering.....great protection for the rear pipes and good aborbers for the front too...

Another is the Worx bumper, had the front which was good too..

or there was somebody on here i think that made his own from one of those plastic chopping boards that was good and very cost effective and just as strong if not stronger

Doesn't look that bad, can't you bend it back, after all its done its job and will get bent again so it doesn't have to be perfect..

I bent it back, still looks pretty good. I am def not going for perfect but I have read that plastic for the bumpers is better then alloy, correct me if I am wrong

Pastic will flex more thats for sure and would generally go back into shape whereas the alloy will bend like it already has done...Plastic may also be slightly lighter in weight too...but i'd look at other upgrades to strenghten for now just because your rear is protected as is...

That's very true, Maybe I will get a new body because the stock one pretty much disintegrated with very little abuse

Unfortunately, these things aren't built for jumping like nitro monster trucks. The require a lot of built up to be up to the task and even still will not be able to do what nmts do. The newer KMs (like yours) have the beefy front and rear upper plates, so that's a plus. Next, I would go aluminum shock towers and nice sturdy plastic bumpers. If it were a buggy, I would also recommend a shorty setup if jumping is your thing.

I keep finding this out the hard way! haha I busted rear hub this past weekend and I am thinking of getting the Hostile adjustable rear hubs. did buy the turtle racing front and rear shock braces. I also want to get the plastic bumpers
