Ok I started here with this battery.

The plugs didn't actually match up in my DX3.0 so I cut the white plug off. On the pc board by the charge plug the lead from the regular battery tray terminal runs. beside where the + and - are soldered, there are 2 holes on the same copper, so I stripped the wires a bit, ran them through the board and soldered them on. I have my Hextronik charger that uses the balance plug, but I also have the black servo type plug to charge with the other charger if need be. Just had to put a couple strips of 2 sided tape to keep it secure... then put the back on and all the screws
