Advice on electric rc please

Hi guys.


I am thinking o get a 1/8 scale backdraft 8e electric to race, where I am they don't race 1/5 scale .


What should I change first to make faster and durable? Anything you guys can think will helpfull.

Defineatly do my 2s conversion. I believe 4s overpowered and 3s is perfect BUT 3s in my expereince breaks cvds left and right every run. So I run 2s and its better. That seems to be the formula even for 4wd SC sub 6lb to run 2s.

This shows the setup swapped the motor for the battery on one side. Then you can run 3s or 2s on the other side. Pretty good balance. Id like to try it w/ the castle sc system but ehhhhhhhhhh.............
