ok after a couple tanks of 25/1 on 001 what do u recomend for mix ratio. a friend of mine runs his at 50/1.

I am switching to 32:1 after this tank. It will be my fourth tank breaking in.

50:1 is for LawnMowers and LOW REVVING engines. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MIXING RATIO !!!
I use 32:1 and 'the best synthetic 2-stroke oil I could find in Halfords at the time.

No worries and sorry for 'shouting', but we've just been through 'a phase' which had a member barred for recommending it, risking breaking expensive engines.

50:1 yah not a good thing on these engines. heard alot that do swap from 25:1 have only stepped it up 1 more ratio, and still get plenty of oiling inside the engine. 32:1 prolly still a decent ratio, haven't tried it. myself prolly stick with 25:1.

I use 25:1 on my bashing 5th but on my racing 5th at the track I use 32:1
