after market complete car?

was wondering would it be possible to build a complete 5th scale just using after market parts? i know theres tons for the hpi baja range, but has anyone ever built a bling hybrid, not using one original part?

Would be interesting to see a project like that. I would think it would not be very cost effective to buy the parts separate, but then again, i'm just guessing.

My semi started as a chassis, motor and body. I think you spend more in the long run but sure a fun journey getting there. If you are patient and hunt deals it would work out.
