After market Hubs

Could anyone give me some advice on after market hubs for my 4x4 Dunerunner, the rear plastic hubs that it came with can't handle the strain. I have broken through 4 spokes on each rear wheel and a friend said try aluminum rims but not sure which ones would fit. thanks for the help

I'd look for some dish covers or rims like the 1/8 scales use for racing to cover up the spokes... I haven't personally seen any for 1/5 scales but there might some out there...


Anyone else know?

Get some Baja rear hexes which are a direct fit on your Dunerunner. Then, you can run any of the many HPI Baja wheels.

Thanks DemonRC, could you tell me more about the belt drives I saw on your site. It may help with my low end torque in turns on our homemade track we made out here. It bogs down in turns but have the high end speed on the straight away.

2 sets will give you the fronts as well which you won't need, but you'll end up with a lot of extra wheel nuts.
