They are nice. Ill be building one soon. It is a entirely different animal. Huge and heavy around 40lbs! Over 3ft long. Every platform has its place in the market. I really enjoy the differences between the different platforms. I would have at least one of everything if I could. Let's not let this become a debate of what's better.

don't get me wrong, Im not even about to say one is better than the other. I just love the idea that if I stick with Redcat, then most of the parts are interchangeable. This is why I wanted an MT... so all the spare parts I have for my Dunerunner will fit and I keep the giant box of parts from becoming a giant pile of boxes... ha ha ha

The Losi sure looks nice, but you could just buy 2 new (and different) redcats with upgrades and still have enough money left to take your family out to a nice dinner... Just my point of view.
I will agree the Redcats are the best bang for the buck! I will never get rid of any of them. Loads of fun. Hands down, one of the easiest platforms to work on.

Of course I agree with you.... but the reason I want it is because I want to test out this kit. I'm planning to slap in a huge motor into it :D Planning to use the Losi as a backup and the XB as primary :D It will be great fun! Maybe when I have money saved up :D

You might want to check out L5F. A lot of guys have had heat problems with the reed engine. I'm thinking of trying a BZM micro in one.

L5F? Another high performance engine? Thanks on the info of the reed engine? What did they complain about the reed? What is the BZM micro?

Well you better have a very fat wallet for the losi.Expect to add a bigger block, pipe and ect. The losi buggy is where its at,but the conversion is $800.The losi buggy is faster, and more nimble, and jumps better. Just my two cents whatever you decide have fun.

I've seen the video of Lightforce's Losi buggy. It looks sweet!

You are right cordy, big bucks...

Sticking to one platform tends to get boring after a while. This is why I own several different brands. Keeps things interesting.

That's crazy! Using the Losi as a backup. Lol. That's like making Tom Brady a bench warmer.

I'm 43,one wife, two kids under 3 years and going broke fast.....LOL, but I still somehow find the time to play with my xbe,1.2m custom brushless mono hull boat and my helicopter.
As the kids get older you now have an excuse to give the wife. It might sound like this, "honey the kids want to go RCing we will be back this afternoon. Do you want to come with?" Seems to work in my house. LOL

This is what happens here, " I'm going to the sand pit, who wants to go?" Then me my boys and one daughter end up going. LOL my wife rolls her eyes.
