whats this im hearing about bad stearing mounts? should i buy some? as of right now i have a hop up kit and thats it? what else should i buy? phatdads shock shafts and?

hitec 5745mg steering times 2 ill show you my rampage next time im out there and youll put 2 steering servos too its crazy how well it turns

THERE ARE NO BAD STEARING MOUNTS.... the alum ones do have a small amount of up and down travel. like 1mm. not much of anything really. they fit great. as far as the plastics i guess they will break evntually

i know its great to represant the hobby shop, but why don't you just place an order with rob?? you'll have it in a few days..

I think he's on about the hubs and front uprights, redcat call them steering mounts. I've only seen a couple of posts with busted ones...i have found the pin holes and pivot screws got real sloppy after about a gallon run time and despite some good smacks they haven't broke (i did boil them though)

well that's good to hear about the "steering mount".. The only reason why I went threw my shop was I get things @ dealer cost... Unfortunatley I can't extend this to anyone :( It was only later that nick @ redcat told me i could have had payed credit and it woulda went straight to my house discount and all.. But it was to late... Oh well
