hello,
my baja 5b's engine starts and turns off after putting the airfilter outwear, and i looked for it in the manual which comes in the box , after reading the trouble shooting title which is in the manual i figured out that the air filter is blocked and after taking out the outwear, the engine was working well, i wanted to know what should i do for the airfilter's outwear?
Thanks

got one on mine too, works fine, sure you are having it on outside and not inside, maybe sucking down into carb throat? i know maybe silly question, but thot i wood ask anyways

clean both the outerwear and both foam filters in kero, re oil the two foam filters and start, if too dirty or too much air filter oil on it you can experience starting/running problems.

@ csp1971 : the is link not working ... by outwear i mean the cover which protects the air filter from dust :) . Thank you ;)
@ Lan-El-Tul : No , it's not upside down and it's not sucking into the carb either , i think it is because it's Chinese ? Thank you ;)
@ Sperera : Although after i cleaned it ... i can still see some sand inside both foams.
Thank you ;)

I have both the Red Neck and outerwares on mine and never had a problem. Have you had it running recently before putting the outerwares on it? Does it hit or try to start at all? After cleaning did you make sure the filters where dry before oiling? Are you sure you did not over oil it?
