Air filter with G320

I put in a brand new 320 and now my body panel won't fit without cutting. Any ideas? I'm running the stock air filter. My guess is the intake is a little thicker, pushing the carb out further. I really don't want to cut the panel.

Turtle Racing makes a piece to put the air filter over the clutch, but you have to take the spark plug cage off.

I contacted Steve at DDM and asked what the lowest profile AF that will fit. I ordered the one he recommended and it still required cutting the panel. I will most likely pull the 320 and put it in my 5ive and run the 29cc 5ive motor in my DBXL.

I cut the panel a long time ago to run a good filter, what's more important to you? That piece of plastic, or the motor? There is one more option. You can run the turtle racing airbox I'd you don't have the engine cage.

Thanks, I appreciate the response. I have already solved the problem by swapping motors with my 5ive.
