air filter

just wondering what everybody runs for air filter. my nutech mt and km buggy i run k&n 3" with out wears

i agree with the guys, my air filter is hpi baja stock filter with redneck 2 stage filter and outerwears pre-filter i get massive dust clouds

K&n cone filter with foam sleeve and an outerwear cover

i tried running a hpi filter but hate the way it fits. Whats so wrong with the stock one? I run it all the time and no problems

well very soon i will test a new filter.


i was using a hpi for a long time with success but hate the linkage mess.


recently i got a mcd and i really liked the filter system so i ordered some for my rampage too. it is bigger and oval shaped. 2 stage and the good thing is how it is installed. it has a neck that offsets the filter.


i will install it soon and report back.

Well if you want more room use a phatdad angled shreadstack it accepts the baja filter, the stock filter isnt very good with dust conditions I think its fine for running onroad or in grass but not in dusty places

i think on my ramp ill try the angled shredstack and hpi filter thanks for all you inputs

this is what i am talking about.


the main difference with a velocity stack is that the filter remains parallel to the chassis

yes there is an outwears especially for them that is oval shaped.

hpi on most, fg filters are nice too. k and n filters are junk.
