I'm thinking of a DT1 filter, not sure if I should get double or tripple? Or any other recomendations?

If you go w/a prefilter just dual layer. Triple if no prefilter IMO. I swear by a prefilter bc of how well I've seen them perform. They breathe but stop small filaments that looks like lint. Will also keep the filter better forming bc it will absorb no debris.

I use the triple. Can't have too much protection.

Triple here with a nice velocity stack makes for a great setup.
