air filter?

Would a better air filter help? Or is the factory one ok? Seems like it really holds back on the air flow
 
A lot of people run the Baja filter setup with a incline shred..the new style that redcat use should be ok. When I got mine 3 years ago it had a crappy one so I went with a DT1 filter with a V stack.
