I only found one comment on the Allanach seals on the HBF. Has anybody here run these that can comment? I just got mine last night and I slipped them over a clean crank and they were rather snug when trying to spin them on the crankshaft by hand. I went ahead and assembled everything and you can defintely feel them gripping. I trouble shooted as best as I could:
1) Made sure my seals were flush with the crank so the Allanach seals did not touch the bearings.
2) Seated each bearing all the way in. When the Allanach seals are out and the crank case is assembled it's smooth as silk, therefore, the problem would lie with the seals being tight right?
Do they need some kinda break in? I'm gonna run it anyways and see if it losens up.
