allen set screws

hey all, went to fast-n-all today to talk with them about the little set screws coming loose, even with loctite. I took my stainless steel screws to show them what I was using. They have set screw that are called self locking. At the point of contact are these little cut marks so when you tighten them down it digs in. Thought I would try it. Ordered some up.


Has anyone tried these before? Am I just wasting time?

I use them at my day job all the time. The knurled tip holds tight even under vibration.
