I'm not 100% sure what your asking but the 97 brake assembly will be used on the Monster model just like the Marder. Are you changing out the plastic Monster plate for the Alloy gear plate?

Not sure if this photo will help:

rear alloy caliper

went thru same issues after purchasing alloy gear plate the part you need is FG 7497 its a complete rear brake system ive contacted numerous hobby shop US and Canada no luck even DDM doesn't have it stock but was able to purchased mine thru good old Ebay UK check it out there are few listed at the moment new and used good luck

The whole brake setup is off my marder so that leaves me with stock brakes for the MT. I was gonna use those brakes with the just the caliper. I guess I should just get the complete brake kit.

Ill see but I just lost at fightin my speedin ticket so I gotta pay the fine. Plus I blew two servos yesterday. Just not my week so far. But ill call then to see what's the charge for the brake stuff.
