I have the alloy upper arms on my Rampage. Tonight was the first night I ran with them on. I noticed my camber was really bad after about 10 minutes of runtime. Checked it and found that the tie rods had vibrated themselves further into the upper arm and rod end.

Any suggestions to preventing this aside from threadlock or going back to plastic?

I thought maybe some hollow tubing cut to the exact size I need it and slid over the tie rod would keep them from vibrating inward.

That seems like a good idea but why don't you like using the medium threadlock? It should fix the problem quickly.

Put a drop silicone gasket maker in the hole before you put it together. Not to much or you will have a hydraulic lock effect.

Make sure you measure the length you need center to center . Then put them together and let them dry over night.
