Actually I think I'm done with my mods on my MT. I enjoy working on the truck as much as running it. I can see that a lot of you guys have more than 1 1/5th scale rc. So, I was thinking about getting a HPI baja SS kit. I was wondering for those who have both what I can expect and what the differences are? The likes and dislikes. Any info would be great these things are not cheap.... Or maybe another vehicle? I'm all ears.... Thanks! :o

well to start out you can expect alot of building because that is a kit so you will have to put all the parts together which is not a bad thing because you can upgrade what part you want while you are building and you can locktite everything while you are building you can not to expect to be running out of the box like you did with you MT. But it should be a fun build and IMO will teach alot more about the rc cars.

I have an MT and a 5B. They're VERY different. Handling, performance, speed, everything. They're both a lot of fun, and there's a time and a place for each. I'll be honest though, my 5B hasn't seen much use lately as I've been primarily running my T1000 and my MT.

Well get set for a money pit with the hpi,and your 2wd. Check out nutech racing thier in wis. They have an economy buggy new for $649. Soon as I pay off x mas I will order a tb3 buggy . Whatever you choose have fun!

How is the T1000 I love the 5T but can't find one. Actually I would rather have it than the 5B.

I'm more of a truck guy when it comes to RC's, so I like the T1000 much more than the 5B. The only thing I don't like is the body takes a beating anytime it's on it's roof.
