Good news, UPS is delivering my DR Monday!

Bad news, I'll be tied up with the boss, the boss's boss, etc. until Wednesday or Thursday. Sigh...

Anyone watch the Camping World Truck race tonight? Won by an 18 year old kid, youngest winner ever! Whoo, that kid is COOL under the gun.

That blows about work... but you gotta pay for the toys somehow...Enjoy the DR, it is AMAZING... Try some HPI Tarmac Buster Tires on it and watch it scream on pavement :D
It'll get on pavement, but I have over 20 acres of desert with dirt bike trails and jumps just behind the house to run on first! :D

I missed the truck race. Do you recall his name ?Enjoy your new DR !
Ryan Blaney. He kept the lead through at least 5 restarts right at the end. He was running Brad Keselowski's truck, I think he'd only had three starts before this race.

Used to have problems with jackrabbits and kangaroo mice, but not since I started running cars back there! Close to the air conditioning and fridge, too. It's already 101 outside. ;)

Finally! I swear the only time Brown is late is when I'm Waiting for a package. But the Dune Runner is here, unpackaged with the wheels on.

Next is really going over it, putting in the TQi receiver, changing to the HiTec steering servo, waiting for the kill switch, getting the electronics set, getting out the chain saw gas can and 2 cycle oil, and starting the break in, then DIRT!. :D

No parts or tools were left in the packaging, the wing is on the bench.

Nice....Time to have some fun!
Thanks RCDAD for getting this "little" jewel to me so promptly! :D

Now, I got to finish 2 projects on my bench, both 1/10, a SC truck for the track and my wife's 2WD buggy.

Sweet! Which SC do you have?
Slash VXL 4X4, Castle Mamba Monster SC ESC, 1410 motor, MaxAmps 2S/ 5450 mah 120C LiPo, that I'm completely going thru and placing on a Shining Star LCG chassis. Only thing Slash will be the drive train. I had it dialed pretty good with the stock chassis, getting it ready to go from "stock basher" to "race", but ... :) Besides, someone mentioned in my hearing that a Slash is only good as a "runner up" or "run over". I'll dig out the stock body for the first track run. ;)

Nice. I loved my Slash 4x4! It was more of a basher, though. I have a Blitz, now. I want to get back into racing with it. Are you still running the stock axles? I had the Tekno CVD's on mine. Loved them.
