Hello everyone, new to the 1/5 scale just wanted to ask a question. I have a losi5t v1 and I just bash it. I like the look of the aluminum bead locks they sell on eBay. Any downside of running this? Would the extra weight on the rotating assembly be a problem? Would it make the wheel stronger? ie less flex? I honestly just like the look of them and wouldn’t mind a set. What do you guys think? 26867DED-D7E4-470A-A385-3F4860519AE3.webp

Thanks for the replies , I figured the aluminum ring would give some structural integrity to the plastic wheel. I ordered a set and I’ll report when I get them.

At the end of the day the plastic rims and rings are fine and I look at it like this. Majority of your "wheel" is plastic and the metal ring adds as much rigidity as the screws that lag into the plastic rims so moral is you won't gain anything other than a looks but you can convince me with inner metal rings as that area is thinner than by the wheel face.Have fun with it thats all that matters
