I always see there is a good number of people reading this forum, but post are real low. Maybe just alot of people searching, or just bored and browsing?

Either way, to start some conversation.. I fly out of town each week for work, so reading these forums has been my amusement untill i can get home on the weekend and run the truck.

Its a pain, all I have to do is order stuff offline, hope its there when i get home, install it, then hope the weather is nice enough to run!

I wanted to bring it down with me, but I don't see any reasonable way of flying that down here.

I can just imagine it going through the x-ray at the airport

Or the look on the guys face when he searches the stow-away bags and sees a mammoth truck wreaking like gas :w00t:

besides all that, I don't think people in downtown albany (NY) would like me buzzing around the hotel parking lot with this loud thing.

It's just simple math. This forum only has 9800 members, and it's showing 94 active. I'm here a lot right now, because I'm new, so yeah, I'm digging around learning and drooling over some of the nice rides here.

I haven't flown in a few years, it was bad then, I can't even imagine it now. You need a brushless micro t to take on the road with you, so you can wheelie across the hotel room. :D

didnt even realize that, I just always see the "users viewing"

I keep thinking of those mini's.. But when I look at them at the hobby shop, I just don't get "that" feeling. like its gonna satisfy anything?

I almost did get one of the micro desert trucks last time, but decided against it at the last moment.

The one good thing is there is a HobbyTownUsa here.. But its a shame what hobby shops stock nowadays. I think the whole online thing has just killed the market for them.

well around here hobby town carries (ground wise) a good bit of traxxas, and HPI, the only losi (which is now junk) they carry is micro/mini stuff

if your going to get something small to take with you, get a mini revo or mini slash or even a mini summit

I too travel out of town a week at a time for work. I also use these forums for research on possible problems/repairs and most of all planning my next purchase for one and/or both of these rigs.

This week is really dragging on, its been beautiful weather out the past couple days, the first real sign of spring, and im stuck here.

you watch, this weekend when I get home its gonna drop back down and pour/snow.

I feel ya, i'm deployed right now and can not bring my buggy anywhere. I'm on the island of Okinawa, Japan doing heavy operstion and there is no time to drive or able to bring my buggy down here just to goof of with... :( But in two weeks i'll be home with the wife and kids for about a month or so before I deplot agian so at least when I get home all the parts will be there so my and my son can get some driving time in.. :)
