It sounds like the Smartech Spider or whatever that is called. Firehammer clone. Do you have a link or picture?

my local hobby shop sold these for a couple of months. the hobby man. they stopped selling them because just about everyone had problems and came back in for repairs sooner rather than later.

i think for the price it may be worth it but you will be putting money into it straight out of the box to keep it going.

Pablo those are pretty decent, just the fuel tank on that model as you have pictured should be replaced, it is a bit brittle, if you do get it. It is reliable though.

Here's a link

I don't know if it's the same one, but it looks like a killer buggy for the money! Click on the description tab.

I like the little extras, like the lexan flap to protect the diff from rocks and the throttle linkage has shrink tube already applied.

Don't be afraid of the clones, they are in general, pretty decent.

ye the spider is a clone of the fg marder , there nothing wrong with it, few of my Friend's have them, problems are the same just like any other fg.

like the engine mount the plastic diff case + the gear carrier. Buy the alloy upgrades parts ,that's about it the come with 23 26cc cy engines prity much interchangeable with fg parts

Like trip said these clones are not as bad as they are made out to be, most guys that buy these clones are looking for a cheap car to get it to the hobby, they don't have much understanding about the hobby,

hence lots of people going back to the shops for repairs to be done because they cant do it them selves and they tend to get frustrated with the car i have sean this my self in my local hobby shop.

we are not all tech heads but we do try our best lol.
