i have a MT with dual steering servos. im low on cash. does anyone know if you can run ok with a single hs 5755? and also will i have to buy a new horn since the one thats on it is round or do they come with different horns when you buy them?

thanks for any advice

I believe DDM includes a free aluminum arm if you buy from them. Also the stock steering servos are more reliable then the throttle servo. You could wait until you need them. I would recommend a throttle servo first. More important. You don't want a run away truck. I am still running the stock steering servos and they seem to be doing fine. I replaced the throttle servo with a hitec 650. And a kill switch from Killer RC. You can run with one steering servo but I think dual is cool. I love over kill. :D

thanks for the info and yes i just ordered a hs 645 throttle servo just so it wouldnt go out full throttle. about all i could afford til my next paycheck. i guess ill get the killerbee killswitch and the flysky remote. im glad to hear that the stock steering servos might be ok. hopefully i wont have a runaway til i get the new stuff. i will check out DDM

No I have not I have kill switches in all of mine. I race alot with mine and at the track you have to have a kill switch in order to race so its not an option. But its a good thing though. I have only had to use it once.

if i get the hs 5805 with the fubata mount on the throttle side servo/ steering will the 5805 fit on the other side under the receiver pack. just asking because i could run one 5805 and later buy the second servo without doing any modifications to the battery steering servo side. basically what modifications will i have to do on the battery side steering servo with the hs 5805 or will it even fit at all? or should i just hold out for the 2 5755's and do the easy modification to both sides. rampage mt

As far as I know, the 5805 won't fit under the radio box. You really don't need dual 5805's, anyway. One will do the job and it'll be more efficient than running dual servos of any model.
