we seen this installed in a mega monster with different baja wheels installed and OMG it makes a huge diference..
imo it's essential to lock the centre diff...i stuffed mine full of jb weld...unless you race on a non slipsurface like astro turf then all a centre diff does is allows the front tires to unload, boil up and turn into dinner plates...and then you go nowhere fast as traction is all but gone...i also am a total naysayer for heavier oil in the front diff " it pulls you round corners quicker" is the quote always given and it's total bollocks...all it does is gives huge understeer...personally i run 50k front and rear ( in my old pig, my nuey and hurrax)so i get equal traction front to rear, gives enough slip across the diff for corners and allows you to off throttle into a corner, turn and nail it out and oversteer a bit...ie point and squirt and drift a bit...found it way easier to control and faster round my track.
