Thanks Stevo

Well I found out on the other thread.

MCD Is on the moon all alone on this one .

I think its the owner and his little alloy car .

Stevo you seem to have some input with those guys . I would sudgest a wake up call. Unless they like a more painfull way .

See if they offered an update kit for all the customers of the Evo III for say 800 bucks US . and made the price of the car say 2300 roller . They would dominate the market ( much more than with a 4000 price tag).

It costs them maybe 300 bucks in alloy and kids labour and they are shooing for 4000 prices ??

There will be lots of guys getting out of MCD for sure. IT s not all that .

Russian tank technology with some alloy parts . Labour in Turkey is cheap I have friends that work there. Mcd is trying to retire on this but I think the retirement will come with a great surprise. We lost the market oh crap !!

the new alloy car has quite a few extras inc lsd diffs front and rear, competition chassis, alloy front bulkheads alloy rear bulkheads, new fat shocks, alloy bottom and top arms front and rear, alloy gear carrier, alloy shock shafts, rear alloy wing holders, i know the price increase is going to be quite alot £2500 is not confirmed as yet but look at the extras you get, no body is making some one spend this money, but most people buy an fg or hpi and spend well over £2500 on it any way, this new car is already done so no hop ups needed, also the good thing is people who already own a evo 3 can upgrade piece by piece rather than spending the amount all in one go. but don't forget the sport model and the competition car these are not over priced for what you get, agree alot more than fs racing, but if you want infirior quality then good luck with it, you will only end up spending money to hop it up with mcd parts anyway, why do this if the fs racing is so good.

anyway thats just my opinion

Thanks Stevo

Great Info .

all sounds great However It is so over priced it is not even funny.

Cleon looks like jewelery compared to Mcd and it is cheaper . ???

How does Mcd compare to Elcon . Well it does not at all .

They are going to loose the rest of the market and that is a good lesson for them.

This is the real reason for the high price :

They lost so much of the market as all the clones took it so to make up the overall profit from the project they have to jack up the price of the alloy car.

Sponsored racers are going to drive them as they get heavy discounts on the car but customers are going to look elsewhere.

Sinan is reading this and scratching his head and if not he will scratch his head later as the alloy will sit on the shelves in Turkey.

Now imagine if those guys were a bit smarter.

Offer the car at U$2200 and sell it to the masses like FG .

Instead they will offer it to 10 th of the leftover of their market share.

I guess it just depends how well you did in your economics class ....

I own an elcon cleon and they now retail for £1900 this car is 2wd and has half the componants of the mcd!, you have to remember the mcd has 3 diffs not 1, also has 2 lots of drive shafts not 1 also many other parts than the cleon, you can buy a competition evo 3 and upgrade the parts you want rather than buying the whole car with all the extras, many people asked for a fully hoped up car but don't want to pay the price, again £2500 is uncomfirmed. there are twice as many componants in the mcd than many other 2wd cars.

an alloy fg is £2000

well all i can say its possible to get a fs hoped up for less than that
with a zen motor alloy towers alloy diff house alloy lower and upper wishbones with metal rose joints alloy tray ok that's from mcd thanks for that mcd and alloy servo savers alloy gear plate with metal gears alloy wheel hubs alloy tank holders its all there for way under the price of the mcd hitting the 1900 to 2100 oh and that's with the hi tech servos + tuned pipe
nut im not forgetting that if it was not for mcd fs would not have anything of course but they do and they are here to stay
thanks mcd

PEACE OUT

right

Mcd will decide their future here . If they put the price too high we all know the answer .

Clones will take over along with the superb Cleons .

Smart buyers will get the right cars for sure .

It should be interesting to see the future of mcd .

I wonder what they are smoking ???

One thing i would say is i visited mcd in november last year and the sales of the cars have never been higher lol

wow

wonder if that continiues if they start taking advantage of people like trying to sell a car for 2500 british pounds ?

time will tell .

wonder if they know about the global recession ?
to each their own .
