Just curious if anyone has done this to their king motors engine? Let me clarify, did it themselves. I have found a few posts on other forums of guy's who bought some templates from dark soul and started hacking with a dremel. Just curious if I should attempt this or bag it.

i know the bottom end on my oddie 23 has been ported you can clearly see it,,just not when its all together lol so i cant show you till its apart again which i hope its not

I am a tool and die shop owner now but spent a lot of time on the bench. It looks pretty straight forward if you don't go wild with your die grinder. I just wonder if there is a noticeable difference afterwards. I might try it later after I break mine in.

No quite sure LAN. I read a post from another forum and the dude said his templates were from ds? I didnt look to see how old post was.let me look again

Yes. The posts I have been reading were all from 2008-2009 ish. DDM used to sell them but they don't anymore. Looks like ds stopped making them. Most guys say they are not necessary. They are actually case matching templates. Not "really" porting templates.
