Anyone else wish that RPM would make some flexible Chimera wing mounts

Anyone else wish that RPM would make some flexible Chimera parts? Apparently if you show them evidence of enough interest from users they consider making the part/parts in question.


I wish the rear wing mounts were made of their plastic since I endlessly seem to be buying them (not cheap when importing them from the states). Anyone that else share my views then I will collate this thread and make them aware in the hope they knock one up. If not I make seem if I can getting something 3D printed in Nylon.

RPM has never been able to justify any Redcat parts.

1000x yes. I actually have asked a fellow forum member to make them out of metal. I am on my 4th one.

He said he would be looking into it, as well as a full roll cage.

I will work with Brian and see if we can make them out of machined aluminum while he make the tubular roll cage.

Which of the 3 wing mounts are you guys breaking ?

Mostly the curved section. Then secondly the flat part that holds the wing.

The X brace against the truck has not been broken for me, at least.

The curved section takes the beating.

I keep breaking the peice that holds the wing and the lower bent section this should be curved instead of bent it would make it much stronger. I would defiantly buy some aluminum ones if would make them.
