Anyone have these KM tires, Hostile MXT clone?

Just to get back on topic ;-) I have these tires no problems with them. Things I notice between the KM and more higher brands like HPI.

Beadlock on the KM seems more flimsy, like it is made from a thinner plastic than the HPI. The Plastic surrounding the Hex nut on the HPI wheels have a metal ring.

Both of theses things I would suspect make the HPI or hostile tires better but, so far no real difference

but i don't buy clones or parts which have been copied by other people

I will never buy a clone even if i can have 3 for the price of 1.....

thats not the point all rc's have ther pro's and con's about them just because hes having problems with his 5t doesn't make it sh!t, the reason why people hate clones, like myself, are because the likes of KM and many others out there cant design there own so they rob, copy, steel Hpi's hard work! and for that reason is why we hate clones!!

bud just relax there is nothing worth getting upset over, besides all teh hpi/km bs would stop if everyone knew the truth about the bajas (both hpi and KM) which is they are ALL made overseas in asia :p

Im not crying, Im just proving a point, Don't insult me and call me a liar. That was just the first couple I saw out of your 1000+ post count, i could go all day with your snide little rude comments.

I understand your oppinion and that is fine, but my whole point to this that keeps flying over your head is that this is not the place for it. You have been warned in the past about it, that this forum is for all 1/5 scales and to not bash. And you continue to do so.

forgot to add IMHO a tire is a tire just the compounds vary however with that said when it comes to items such as the tires i myself would buy the actual name branded hostiles over the copies becuase you don't know what the clone standards for compound or hardness actually is and you wont know unless you test them with a rubber durometer and they may vary batch to batch anyway). when it comes to aftermarket parts i do buy genuine, unless it is no longer seems to be available or the manufacturer drops the ball and their product cannot be found anywhere (like the HBZ chrome front baja bumper).

i also tend to shy away from alot of listings on fleabay due to alot of clone parts being passed off as genuine.
 
if ya wanna talk trash on KM's do it in the hpi threads stay outta the KM threads. we know theres folks that are hpi all the way, well theres some of us that CANT afford over a grand for one, and THEN STILL have to upgrade them, so we get the less expensive KM. and ROVANS, and do the upgrades, and its not like we aint supporting the hpi market, cuz, dude, we are buying the HPI parts to upgrade with, so in that respect we ARE supporting the hpi market and hpi aftermarket parts, cuz thats what we're putting on the KM's.

so stop spreading crap here and do it in the right thread, throw all the hate ya want to, just do it in a hpi thread not here.
 
Why me? the is other members on this thread talking about the km

We have had our banter and its now ended..... so why bring it back up?
 
i know you werent the only one in here raggin there were 2 others at least, and i wasnt sure if the horse was dead yet or not, if so, then ok.

but even tho i have the T1000, i have tons of hpi and hpi made aftermarket things on mine now, so i am supporting hpi in that regard, just making that point, i wasnt sure if you knew or understood that.
 
I talked to him about mine turning blue, he said it was probably something in the dirt where I run, chemical reaction with the 100% rubber. don't know what else he puts in there, but they wear out just as quick, of course I am hard pack dirt, rocks. And the tires are a wear item, so i'm not complaining.


I actually thought for awhile this was different then good ol' RCU, But I see its pretty much everywhere. Can't we all just have fun with our TOYS.
