ive just got a second hand 23cc oddified heli engine wont be here till end of the month.anybody else running one its going in my marbug and replacing my stock zen 23cc which is fun and throws marbug around quite well so hopfully the oddified one will be even better i have been looking up online about them and find only good things to say plus there meant to be @6bhp+ with a nice long flat tourqe curve which is more important hopfully this will go nice with the ecu and victory pipe time will tell?:cup-1:
 
Get Ian to update your ecu mate, will make alot of differance with his engine.

I was also looking at the same engine on ebay but didnt have the funds at the time.

Look forward to seeing some vids and pics mate:)
 
yeah thats on the cards its only the mk1 ecu dosnt have the 15 maps but im happy with it for now it does need updating its a couple out of date,the engine ive been looking at for weeks thinking about it i phoned him up hes saved it till end of the month payday but i cant wait should be good nice little 23cc 4bolt heli engine mmmmmmmmm its not the red top but when this one needs a rebuild i willl send it of to ian for red top conv waiting for him to get back to me on prices there is another oddified one on ebay looks good but its only a 2 bolt head not that its a problem it is more money though

well its now here and im mega chuffed with it had a couple of tests with it and its mental more power than my stock 23cc zen on 1/2-3/4 throttle on full throttle its insane just mental it even sounds different to the stock 23cc teamed up with the ecu it works realy well, i stripped it down as soon as it came just to see condition of the ring piston and bore a seems good no signs of damage or any ware by the look of the bottom end its a converted 2 bolt zen bottom and a ported lightend flat top piston highly ported zen 4 bolt head ive never seen so much porting work done on a head before the coil is bolted to the fan cover not the head for some reason i also put in my zero drag seals from my 23cc my msd coil lead alloy pull start handle ect i did use my old 771 carb but now changed for the one that came with the oddie lump just need to send him my ecu to get a update done then im done heres some pics of it in bits next time im out and got spare pair of hands il get a video of it:gun_bandana:

Looks nice mate...cant wait to see a vid now...

Think Im gona save up now for a new 26 Oddified engine and maybe an ECU too.
