never really liked the front wheels on a baja they just look to skinny to me, was going to try back wheels on the front i,ve try,d a back rim on the front and it do,s fit but runs a bit close to the hub etc,, don,t know how much it would affect the handling tho i only use for bashing,

Don't you think that fullsize would have fitted bigger front tyres if it worked? The rear tyres are bigger because they carry more weight and also have to transmit the engine's power to the ground. There is also a possibility that fitting wider tyres up front might be counter-productive because the weight per square inch of contact area will reduce, which might make the front end actually grip less.

most 5th and 6th scales run the same size tyres all round without having front end grip problems,

my bud runs rear hostiles front and rear. it gave the front some weight so he doesn't wheely as much and they never seem to wear

hostiles are quite heavy, i was thinking of running standard dirt busters how do,s your freinds buggy handle with big wheels up front.

I ran with all 4 rears last week, didn't really notice any difference mate.
Think i'll try them again next time i'm out.
I was using extenders so not sure what they will be like without.

I've been running mine like it for a long time now......although I do use extenders they do work without them but the rims chew up the top ball joints...

I find the steering IS better with the fats up front contrary to other peoples input.......besides that it looks so much meaner....

And the steering is no heavier while the car is in motion.....i'm using a hitec 5745 and it is MORE than sufficient.........

Just my 2 bobs worth....
