7075 should manufacture something like these for the MT...they would be a big seller and super easy to make I would think?!?Deluge said:
I have them on my diff cups and I haven't split one, yet. Back when it was just the V1 and the V2, people had problems with the cups splitting. I haven't seen a lot of split cups with the V3, but it couldn't hurt to sleeve them.caveman said:Oh ok so do they work good something you would recommend to everyone?
You could easily make your own with some steel tube.krashkrieg said:7075 should manufacture something like these for the MT...they would be a big seller and super easy to make I would think?!?
I'm good with making them if I could find the right size tubing...Deluge said:You could easily make your own with some steel tube.
Do u know the part numbers or have links to the boots that fit are mt's? ThanksRAMJET said:get your self some boots for your CVD joints also , I purchased some when I bought my truck but never bothered to put them on .Well my front CVDs went out in no time, the end of the axle and the cvd barrel were so worn one of them broke .anyway just a heads up that the shafts wont last long without grease (I got 3 gallons on mine) as far as the diff cups, no problem so far with MT tires. I have been waiting for them to fail and when my truck went into 2WD I thought for sure it was a diff cup but still going strong.another tip for the MT is to put a piece of foam glued into the roof of the body so that it touches the roll cage this helps limit damage to the body in a roll over also a bit of drywall tape and shoe goo in the weak areas. that body will shatter like glass in a flip without it .
