Is anyone still actively driving a V1? I have a v3 but always drive my classic P2W v1. Its like a favorite pair of shoes or jeans. Im getting a lot of miles on P2W. Ive had it years.

Everytime I think about updating it to v3 to match my backup I figure whats the point? The v1 never breaks down, I have boxes of parts for it, Ive don't at least 2 complete teardowns so I know its put together right and strong, I have V2 and v3 parts on it, I can upgrade the main parts (chassis, diffcases) later and go from there if I need to. I don't even like the added weight of dual steering on the v3. I lovee my v3 too but its only my backup and doesn't everyone love their first child the most.? Anyone else still lovin their v1?

i am still running a V1 and the only things i have changed (apart from engine) are

shock shafts

front diff V2

servos

tires

and metal gears

i am very happy with it and i am at the point that i just want to fine tune it.

same here I still have my V1 and all I have had to upgrade is one diff case to V3 and lower A arms (my own fault). I have had 6 different motors in it over the past year and a half and and 4 different pipes. Have had to replace/fix 2 shock shafts and one set of gears but It just keeps going. I have been very happy with my choice in getting a Redcat. People that have Baja's say they are junk and they brake down to much I see them working on there's a lot more than I have to. And I get more and longer run times than they do with there baja's. I would not change anything if I had the chance to do it all over, V1 has gave me many many happy days.

I still have a V1 with the same engine that came stock, yep thats right the good ol 23cc, and still to this day has not giveing me any real problems, I got well over 10 + gallons on this truck and had to replace the drive cups and a new clutch

Still running v1. Jacked my 25t steel gears pretty good a couple weeks ago, but other than that, no problems.

I'd prefer to keep my single servo steering rather than dual. Just more weight and more power sucked out of my battery quicker.

I'm still running my v1 and so is my dad. I've changed my shocks over to baja ss shocks though. I also added a set of 5T trenchers and a jetpro. His is still stock with ddm dominator pipe. Both cats have held up well for us.

I'm still running my V1. After extensive up-grades & countless hours of wrenching. It's actually Very good on the track.

Here is my Blue V1 playing with all kinds of other mfgs.

Still have my V1 MT5 Only upgrade has been the mill/28cc. And gears. Been a shelf queen for the last year or so. Working to much to enjoy it lately. Once I put the summer toys away I will get it rolling again. Someday I will upgrade but don't see any need just yet. Its not like my buds 5T thats always in pieces. :)

I took a couple new pics of my v1's for the 35cc engine thread and thought i'd put em up here... these rampages are great rc's for the money, upgrade some gears and servo's and few other things and they are HUGE fun for a long time.

got my v1 and I don't foresee getting a newer one for a long time, just had a daughter. It's all stock (yes even the motor) except for the servos & battery and runs strong like a champ
