The reason I'm asking is, I did the silly putty or actually, play dough thing and it worked great for a while. This past weekend I found my center diff gears went south for the winter. Turns out the plastic center diff case couldn't hold the playdough weight and pulled the screws out of the diff gear on one end causing the gear to become unparallell strpping both gears and the case. I would imagine that heat played a role in this aswell because the playdough went in orange colored and now is a dark brown grease color. I'm not going to risk new gears with a new center diff case to have it happen again. Anyone have any problems with the diff eliminator parts? I'm sure the model difference wouldn't matter? Mine is a Nutech tbIII if you think it would.
