Hello everyone,
I recently just got back into the hobby by purchasing a 5t, nicely equipped with parts. It was just a roller with most of the parts in boxes. So i got to know the truck a bit before getting right into driving which was nice. Still haven’t driven it yet either!! Waiting on rx/tx to arrive.

But my question is on these front spindle carriers. Are they on the correct way or should they be swapped to the other side? These were together already, but i feel like they limit the turn radius this way.

I tried looking for pictures of these or anything else that may help me out but didn’t really find anything.

Any other things i should know by looking at the pictures lmk!!

Thank you in advance

oh no kidding. Hadn't even noticed that.

Edit: so i just went out and changed mine to the top. Had to wind in the ends and was thinking “great, less exposed stud part off the tie end”. Pushed down on the front suspension and tires went \ /

OK so I’ve got another question that i can hopefully get answered.

I’ve got-
NSDRC-rs2500 that requires 8.4v
Power hobby 701mg 7.2v
Sanwa mt5

I have a 2s battery but not getting anything from the steering servo, but i also don’t have a Y splitter yet, i had the power wires just connected to another channel. If that makes sense.

Do i need an 8.4v battery and how do i not burn up the 701mg in the process?

Gotta love those pesky confusing instructions.

Your NSDRC RS2500 should have came with a JST adapter. That goes to your 3S battery with a BEC programmed to 8.4v. The servo lead plugs into your RX for signal only. I would run that servo at full 16.8v.

Your Power hobby 701mg can only get 7.2v from your RX if it can handle / output that voltage unless you make your own harness.

Dang, ok. I don’t have instructions, bought it all in pieces. nor did i find any online, Maybe i just looked right passed that part. 🤣
