i got my baja new of these guys for £370 when everywere else were charging £400, but that carb is way pricey, i know he likes rallying and has a couple of ex wrc cars maybe its to fund that:lol::lol::lol::lol:
 
LOL i couldnt resist and sent them an email via ebay and got a response saying the only other people to sell the carby in their area was more expensive and thanked me for my concern LOL. Oh well good luck selling em!

radicool here. A friend of mine told me about this thread - and I thought it was worth responding to.

The carburettor price is for the HPI supplied Carburettor - link here

You can see that the UK RRP is £103.49 - so I'm discounting that price - not trying to rip anyone off - in fact if you search for HPI and 15460 on ebay worldwide - I am cheapest of the 2 people in the world selling this HPI 15460 part.

I gather from the general stick I have received on this thread that a similar non HPI supplied WT-668 Carburettor is available cheaper. If someone can point me towards a distributor for that part I will be happy to make enquiries and put it on at a cheaper price than the HPI one. Believe it or not there isn't a great deal of profit in that part - so I'd be happy to learn where to buy cheaper carburettors so I'm not being ripped off by HPI either!!

Again the Plugs are direct from HPI and discounted from the HPI RRP, as is the pullstart. Please point me to the sites that sell the HPI parts cheaper than me. I don't deal with any other suppliers who sell equivalents unfortunately..

I'm sure you can see that ALL the HPI parts I sell are discounted from UK RRP, and on ebay they are all sold direct from stock.

Thanks to Pablo also for pointing out the good deals I offer on kits. I'd also like to set the record straight a little on the WRC cars - my friend has a peugeot 106 with a roll cage parked in my unit, that has been off the road broken for perhaps 3 years - thats the closest i think we've ever come to a full scale WRC car - but you never know :)

On coming across some of your parts on ebay the price is pretty extortionate.
You have the carburettor listed as a genuine HPI part but in all fairness there is no such thing.The carb HPI supply with the buggy/truck is a Walbro, HPI don't make them themselves and you can pick them up for as little as £25.00 new.I had a quick flick through the net and DDM do them for £27.00 with choke lever.They also do the NGK plugs as supplied by HPI with the cars for £2.50.As said before these are not made by HPI ,HPI simply buy them in so I or anyone else could buy them in at a cheap price and sell them as genuine HPI! I don't think you have to buy off HPI to list their parts as genuine as they don't manufacture their own engine parts.
Why not give DDM a call?they are always looking for dealers/distributors.

Too right Voo...
Just like some of the toss wads on fleebay trying to flog off GENUINE HPI "FUELIE" engines for insane prices...

When are these fookwits gunna realize they are only a CY..........

That bloody HPI sticker doubles the price for some reason:huh::huh:
