if you mean the Kamitiro 4WD conversion kit, steer clear of it, it's chain driven & the chain is welll exposed, its been out many years (think it was the 1st ever comercially available 4x4 conversion for the FG?) but i heard a good few probs with mostly with it getting jammed, stones/debris etc getting cought in the sprockets/chain
This was a belt driven version but even so the belt is totally exposed so will be open to the same problem you highlighted with the chain. Its a flat belt as well so just relies on tension for the drive - not a good set up really.
I will stick with the FG system!!
