The last rollcage I built was on the fly. It wasn't a pre-designed idea or anything. It just so happens everything fit together ok. This time I'm going to do it right. Here's what I have so far. All the bends are a 15/16" centerline radius for 3/8" 4130 chromoly tubing. The teal measurements are the linear distance from the start of the tubing to the beginning of each bend arc. For example, you would take a 3/8" piece of tubing, measure and mark a location for each teal dimension, and then bend it at that mark to the angle shown on the plan. Simple enough. I'll be extending the drawing little by little in case anybody wants to build their own. If you want the DWG file just let me know.
Note: The rear support bars are marked as 5" on the drawing. That is a linear distance on the XY plane and is not the actual distance since they are at an angle on the XZ plane. I'm going to cut them at 5 1/2" and grind them to fit.
