Hi! After having problems with the SH I went out and bought me a Axial .28. Now, to my surprise, the engine shafts are not compatible. The SH has threads to the end of the shaft, but the Axial does´t. I therefore can not get the original clutch back on. I think I need a new set up. Does anybody have a good tip on where to get parts that will make things fit and align? I´ve found the buku clutch to be good, but I still need clutch house and more. HELP!

Nitro engines have two different types of shafts. Been a while since I messed with any nitro but one is a pilot shaft and I for get the name of the other as all I ran was pilot shafts which is the most conman. Check the links below to see if this is what you are talking about.

Pilot shaft engine.

Unfortunately you might not be able to get it to work with out changing the crank if they make the crank you need for the engine you are running.

Thanks!

My .28 is running awesome with the Earthquake. Tremendous power! Others thinking of upgrading, go ahead! I'm using the .28 rr-2

I had the same issues with my inferno. I always forgot the name of the shaft I needed for it.
