I usually buy myself a B-day and Christmas present. Missed the B-day so i combined them both this year. Always wanted one and i couldn't pass up a deal on a lightly used and upgraded SCX6. Should be fun to "Scale" this one out.

Upgrade Highlights:
NSDRC RS2500 Servo
Proline Hyrax tires and 2 stage foams
Vitavon front axle shafts
Treal Front and Rear aluminum axle housings
TrealAluminum Front Steering Knuckles
Treal Upper links
Treal Aluminum shock towers
Treal Panhard mount and link

Don't let me loose with some sharpie's when i am bored waiting for parts.

Ditched the spare tire carrier for two reasons. 1 is 9/10 real "Truggies" don't carry spares and 2 the spare tire and carrier weight just a hair over 1 lb and that is a lot of weight up high and not necessary for looks or performance.

Grille turned out Meh! I will likely fill in the holes with silver so it doesn't look like a JLO rhinestone mug. I mixed some Green and white to get the Axial logo color.

I just saw one of these i could get my hands on. One lb is not much. Those things are hefty boys.

Im still trying to work out the next vehicle I'm getting. I still think its going to be an fg touring car but seeing one of these up close and seeing a build on them makes me question that

I agree 1lb is not a lot in the real word but in this case it is 4.58% of the total weight of my RC so that is huge. In real life a 40" tire, rim and mount would be easily over 225lb. Nobody would ever agree losing weight is a bad thing in real life or fake life.

Not much of a street guy so can't help there but the FG line seems worth the $$.

I purchased the largest crawler tires I could fit on the factory wheels. I just ordered hub extension so they don't snag the springs. IMG_20260225_170823.webp20260225_165950.webp20260225_165957.webp20260225_170008.webp20260225_170050.webp20260225_170111.webp
