I'm putting new wheel bearings in the 5T (all stock for now). When I pulled the axle shafts, it looked like they had grease where they go into the hubs at the wheel. It may have just been collected grime and oil from the exhaust. Should these be dry connections where the axles go into both the wheel hub and differential? Picture below with red circles in area mentioned.

Lucas red and tacky. I always put as much in as I can. I use tiny zip strips on the boots too so they stay put better. Im a big proponent of lubing up all moving parts. It does attract dirt, just wash your rc regularly and lube again. Spraying the boots with silicone spray seems to help them last longer too. I spray my trucks down real good before every outing.
