Bad News.......

My Dad has been diagnosed with Parkinsons disease today. Its his worst nightmare after watching his uncle suffer with it for the best part of 20yrs. Just when my mum had the all clear for cancer then has another growth on her leg that need removing asap. Not good times in the Dwarfy house........

Not a lot for us middle aged folk to look forward to eh

Sorry to hear that,i kinda know how you feel. My dad had to have half his leg removed,and dimentia set in hard straight away. It's hard seeing him like that,just trying to sort sheltered accomodation for my mum too.

dwarfy i know what your going through mate i wish your mum and dad all the best with such a terrible time and hope things work out ok,,which i know aint going to help but keep your chin up brother and just be there for them as much as you can

Not nice, but there's a lot going on in the research field to control it I think.

I hate hearing news like this, just makes one feel to live life the best as you can now....no one knows whats around the corner....

Nothing we can say mate, just get in touch with people if you ever need a release and vent out....my Inbox is always clear bud..

Mark Twain pretty much summed it up.......
"Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like it's heaven on earth". My mate has that incorporated into 1 of his tatoos but changed the last part to "and live life like every day is your last", looks awesome!
