There is a tread on hear somewher i think?

You have to incase all your servos with ballon's/condom's and use grease around the hole's where the servo horn come's out and wire's and do the same on your reciver box.

I will look for the thread if there is one.:)

ba

hiya mate went i ran my baja in the water i never water tighed it but i only ran it once just woundering to you think my baja is messed or do u think its ok thanks

Did you get water in your servos and your radio box?

Open it up and have a look ..... don't turn on your radio gear !!!!

Disconect your battery!!!!

Water question

I TURNED THE CAR ON THE SERVOS THEY COME ON BUT THE RED LIGHT STAYS ON I AM IN COLLEGE KNOW AND THE BATTIER IS CONNECTED I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DISCONNED TILL I GET HOME ABOUT 4.00 WAT SHELL I DO :helpsmilie:

As long as the switch is off, there will be no power running to the receiver/servos. Disconnect the battery when you get home and look for water. If it's wet dry it out.

You will want to change/upgrade the radio gear eventually anyway.

Good Luck and welcome to the site.

yh that true nut i just got the car about 2 days ago i was wishing to keep the standard radio gear for a bit longer before i upgrade lol

hi mate, i would check your gearbox side axel boots for a snug fit to the g/box casing, if any water has got in, the diff housing bearings will go pretty quick:boat:

thanks all for ur reply and help but i turned the baja on today and the servos started working i turn it of chargered the hump pack full and checked it and yh they seem to be working :) any suggestions

One thing to make sure of when the Baja gets wet is the two bearings on on the outside of the gear box. They tend to rust solid if they sit after getting wet. I have had two sets go bad. One took out my case. The other is the tire bearings, make sure they are rolling and not just spinning on your axles.
