baja 5t diff location???

please help me guys and gals!! i cannot find anywhere with enough simple info for checking the diff fluid..my baja 5t is brand new and want to check the fluid before i drive it fullly..is the diff the black box under the rear shock tower?i took the whole back end appart and have the black box/case pulled it up a little but it seems like its still connected to the clutch area?(sorry don't know proper names yet)do i take disconnect the rod looking thing so pull the whole case completely out?i also noticed it has like 5 or six screws on the left side..is that box im talking called the diff box?or gear box?if its the gear box..is the diff in there so i can check the fluid level?please help me anyone..i am still fairly new to the baja..thanks jason

hi mate,,,,,,,Yeah that is the gear box,,,,,,the diff is in there,,,the fluid/grease in an new model should be fine for now though...if u do take it apart. watch the seals when u are replacing everything....

whats the rod looking thing in the back connected to?should i take it off to pull the whole box out?

get yourself a 12 pack of budlight and your tools some tunes and rip her apart it will take about 3 hours your first time just watch what you are doing and you will be fine it is not brain surgery you will be ok

there no easy way to take the diff out quite a few bits and pieces have to come off to get to it just get stuck in its the only way,

thanks for the help..i just want to make sure there is proper fluid in there before i go and tear up the lawn lol
