hi mate,
any one knows why hpi made front and rear chassis instead one piece on baja?compare to losi5t, the chassis is one piece made,in general it should be more strength and harder than two seperate pieces which link together by 4screws.
ANY IDEAS OF IT???

the front of a baja chassis bends very easy i,ve seen them bend with the lightest of bumps its allways been a major weak point of the baja hpi or clone, if it did come in one piece it would be more exspencive to replace.

refer to your point, its going to say that they knew the front neck is easy to break so they made it in 2pcs for cheaper replacement, if that is the reason, they are diddling the consumer on a fault chassis design!!!!

i just think it about time they upgraded the chassis i know the ss comes with a 7005 alloy chassis but even that bends at the front if a heavy front 1st landing go,s wrong, but hpi, k,m etc recomend jumping these buggys i bet they don,t.

If you run a turtle front upper brace and a scorpion lower chassis brace it will hold up VERY well. I have had my 5b SS for 3 years and landed off a jump many times on its nose and never bent a chassis. :D

thanks 4 your advice, but i just wondering why why why they didnt come up a super hard chassis to solve this problem?May be a business relationship with the hop-up manufacture to made more rooms for their products,i guess!!!!

I have yet found a RC vehicle that did not need some up grades out of the box. Some need more then others but they all need something. I all so wonder why HPI has not fixed the pinion bolt breaking problem that the after market parts address.

mate, it seem that the technical team from aftermarket is more reliable.

On some of the stuff but this is true with many RC vehicles. I do beleive that there is more after market support for the HPI baja then any other brand. All so HPI baja parts are plenty full and sold just about every where.

May of the very nice over seas brands it is not easy finding parts for them here in the US or you may wait weeks or months to get them if at all. The cheapest part of this hobby is getting started staying in it is what cost.
