Ok guys i was just wondering if you could fit the Hydro brakes from either FG or the twin piston setup from Mecatec to the plastic uprights.

Also has anyone noticed that the gear on the rear diff that drives the belt for the front diff has more teeth than the one on the front diff??? whats up with that:confused:

Is there a big difference in the number of teeth?
Perhaps it's to overcome the effect 4WD may have, which would probably to induce understeer - going straight on - and in having the fronts rotate slightly faster than the rears - going by what you're saying, means it'll pull itself around corners better .... perhaps I've been reading too many tech sections of car mags!!

thats what i thought as well, its only about 6 teeth difference from memory but i always thought they would drive the fronts and rears at the same ratio.

What about the brakes guys will the hydro setups mount to the plastic uprights?

I am not sure i don't have the car yet and am asking these questions so that i can do the one order and get everything i need. The up right part numbers are 68270 and 6077. Now has anyone used the twin piston Mecatec brakes are they any good or should i just stick with the FG magura ones. Here is a link at the ones i am looking at.

looking at the pics of the uprights i would say no but the easiest way would

be to just phone up where your ordering the car/parts from and ask them

if they wont fit the alloy uprights arnt that expensive :lol:

as for the hydro brakes both are very good....i have FG magura hydro's

on my touring car and also on my Leopard

you need to update your location :)
