Since I have decided to take a different route with my baja, the title didn't fit anymore so I have decided to create a new thread.

The last configuration thread is here.

What I started with

Decided to use a steering servo (HS805mg) for throttle. More for braking power than acceleration.

Received my Silverback Guerrilla rear 5t wheels so the 5b desperado can now go back to the hostile 5b tires.

Also receive my Team Twisted yamadude linkage. Kind of surprised to see that the stock rod is sturdier and stronger.

Should receive the VRC pipe and black magic steel gears today. Then I'll be able to start it.

As it sits.

DDM red aluminum gas cap installed.

Metal gears 19t (Vertigo) and 55t DDM black magic. I've never striped a gear but with the G340 Reed, I wanna play safe.

Sounds nice ,looks tuff and nicely done.
Thanks!

Surprisingly the weight is 39.8 lbs ready to run. So I'm still in the 30's lol :D . But that's without the body panels  . Got some 2 mm thick ABS sheet to play with, just can't decide if I want panels within the cage or a wrap around. Trying to finish it before it gets too cold so I can actually see how it performs.
