sorry mate i have to dis agree i like dremels but they are seriously over priced you buy the name both me and bigga j have cheap copies and they always do what we ask of them at a fraction of the price

i,am a double glazer so i use power tools everyday ,some of the big name brands have been the ones that have let me down quite a lot, i had a no name 24v cordless drill that cost £30 that lasted me 2years when that packed in i got a ryobi with a lithium batt, it looked good but would,nt put more than 10 screws in witout going flat,

yeah definatle each to there own bud i would have thought you would look differently on the situation though voo with all the bad press king motors get but you love yours paying all the money isnt always the way i mean i have mcd's so i do like to spend on the right stuff. but sometimes the cheap things work well just like pablo pointed out

Its just matter of expections.... Any powertool costing less than half price of "real mccoy" cant be just as good as real one. I have bought quality tools and cheapo tools. Usually I am disapointed when expensive tools aint lasting from century to century. Cheapos doesn't last to next year but I am just not expecting it.

I dunno, I have a mastercraft rotary tool in the bin, my newest one only works at certain speeds, the cheapo I bought for $13 from princess auto has been working fine for about 4 yrs now, outlived 3 big name ones...

I buy alot of name brand tools for my detailing stuff, but some of the things I get at princess auto lasts just as long as my other stuff at a fraction of the cost. it all depends on the tool and mfg... I'd never buy any buffer other than a makita, had cheaper ones but they don't even compare, not close. 4 yrs now and the makita still works fine.
