Hi everyone

I’ve bought a Bartolone clutch bell carrier for my MtXL. has anyone noticed when installing this item that you end upwith a small gap between the end of the clutch bell shaft and the pinion?
im not sure if this is a quirk of my car or others have had the same issue.
cheers
Daniel

Yes I did. Its all stock MTXL parts including the engine.

If I tighten the pinion down, the clutch bell is really hard to rotate in the carrier. Doesn't feel right.

I've got one on my MTXL and its perfect. Sounds like you have some thing amiss. If you pull the carrier and bell from the engine, does it spin freely?

I've measured the parts. The carrier is about 0.3mm wider than the pinion and clutch bell assembly. Bearings look right, maybe the carrier hasn't been machined to the right spec.

Could also be bearings are quite home in the carrier. Going to apply a little heat and try tapping them in further.
